Le bonheur de vivre by Henri Matisse, 1905-1906 |
make me disappear in rapture
mind falling over the far side of a cliff
oblivion is a psychedelic patch
of multicolored floral petals
twisted tempura splatters
spilling off the canvas of my eyelids
still; be still
intoxicated quivering
as tongue teases more juice
fingers explore hidden depths
naked hippies on a hilltop
yellow mustard flowers
like smoking peyote in the cave
we are prey and predator
as painted animals come alive again
primitive black and white
cry out loudly as you kill
I cannot contain my throaty moan
mutual satiation confirmed
in the taste of your breath on mine
