Dawn

Dawn creeps slowly
As I lay in my bed
Waiting waiting
Don't come too soon
Be the lover who teases
the lover who taunts
Raise me up to pinnacles
and let me remain
on the edge of that moment
Keep me there still
Until tsunamis crash
releasing untold forces
Squeeze and release
I spin as if drugged
I throb rhythmically
My heart
my breath
I await this new dawn.
