Two Pie Are

The empty pie tin
Falls off of the counter;
Hitting the floor
In such a way
As to cause it
To spin about upon its edge.

If two pie
Are twice as much as one pie;
And if the pie tin’s circumference,
Is equal to
Two Pie Are;
Then I ask you,
Aristotle;
Why can’t I get two pie
Out of one pie tin?

It bothers me greatly,
That although Pi goes on
For infinity;
My pie tin
Is void.

And how can they say
That the area
Is pie are squared,
When clearly the are
Round?

Thoughts of pie
Are keeping me awake
At night.
